Healthcare, in association with our partner hospitals, provides a wide range
of educational programs designed to keep our EMS professionals on the
cutting-edge of clinical practice guidelines.
The Vanguard Education and Training Institute provides
EMT’s, paramedics, registered nurses, and managers with regular training and
educational sessions. In most cases, these trainings help providers meet
their annual education requirements for professional re-certification.
The Institute provides education in a wide range of topics, including
CPR training, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, ITLS, and PHTLS, as
necessary.The Institute provides regular monthly drills,
utilizing both "in the field" re-creations, as well as classroom exercises.
The Institute also offers training in such complex and difficult situations
as mass casualty and disaster recovery.
